Chef de Rang (m/f)

The ALFA Hotel is a family-run 4-star hotel in the center of Serfaus in the middle of Tyrol's Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area. Our hotel has 41 rooms and we have an average of 90-110 guests who spend their vacation with us on half board. Our hotel includes the half-board restaurant, a wellness area with various saunas and steam baths, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor relaxation pool, a hotel bar with around 35 seats and an adjoining terrace with around 40 seats, which is also visited by guests who are not staying at the hotel. Our team consists of 25-29 employees. The upscale international & regional cuisine and the associated top service is our goal.

We are looking for our hotel restaurant from December 3, 2024 to the end of March 2025: Chef de Rang / Waiter

The tasks include:

• Breakfast service
• Preparatory and follow-up work in the restaurant (vacuuming, wiping, cleaning)
• Evening service (ordering drinks, serving, calling for food, serving, small talk with guests,…)
• Beverage service
• You are responsible for a different station every day
• Buffet (keeping the buffet clean, refilling)
• Back office
• Cash system (no debt collection)
• Working on a ward with about 20-25 guests
• We almost always have part-time shifts (morning & evening) - once a week a through shift from midday (see duty roster)

Requirements:

• Friendliness & Reliability
• punctuality
• clean appearance
• German language skills
• at least 1 season experience in a hotel in Austria
• Teamwork
• friendly and positive manner

Working hours and remuneration:

• 5 or 6-day week, part-time (mornings & evenings), one day off per week
• Net salary of EUR 2,100 per month (for 6 days(en)
• Vacation and holidays are paid and tips
